Decorating the Island Caper for parties and weddings
The main thing to understand about putting decorations on the boat is that everything must be tied down, weighed down, or otherwise secured. Do not use glass. Bows, tulle, or strands of greenery can be tied to the railings. Flowers or greenery can be placed on the backs of the benches upstairs or on the tables downstairs (inside). One of our customers put sand in the bottom of large coffee cans and covered the cans with brightly colored paper (colored by children, but any paper will do) for the vases. Then she put smaller cans weighted with sand in white paper bags on the tables downstairs. The cans were all filled with flowers.
